We have just had a snow storm which took me back to the snow storms of the 1970's! Huge flakes and blizzard conditions - absolutely Fantastic!!!!!!!!! Blue sky now and very little snow left on the ground - but great while it lasted! :)

Snow at London Bridge at the moment, settling, but small chunks. Quite a heavy shower though!

Very lightest of flurries about 2.00, looking a little threatening again to the N.W. now. Expecting another flurry any moment.

Regards,

Tom.

It's just snowed hard here!

Enough to give ain 'icing sugar' covering on the grass and cars, and even in some places on the car park. I'm right in the middle of town where it is warmest, so I imagine the surrounding hills have got quite a bit!

Easing off a bit now though.

Report from today.

3 early snow flurries (1 a proper settling shower which gave a dusting), then a heavy snow shower this afternoon which again briefly dusted the ground ; it looked very bleak on the Plain for 10 minutes.

A proper snow cover remained at 09.00, however this had steadily thawed throughout the day. Only shaded areas have any snow lying, although my snowman's still standing  .
