After a dry and sunny morning, a wall-of-snow is now approaching from the NE...Wind moderate NW, temp about 1C...

no snow here B) but it did get down to -6.8 the coldest this year. temp are at 5.2 now, presure 1000.1mb and little wind - also frustratingly my weather station has been teasing me with the snow flake for the past 2 days and its a clear blue sky!

I don't know which planet the met office observer is on in the Stornoway Airport Control Tower but the observations seem to be on a different island to the one I am on :)

The morning was frosty and sunny.

This afternoon saw showers build to the N/NE and frontal cloud move in from the WSW, generally cloudy since 15.00.

Been a glorious day up until 4pm when cloud rolled in from the southwest and is still cloud now with occasional snow flakes falling. Top temperature was 4.8C and now down to 1.5C.
