Further flurries here tonight. This makes it the sixth consecutive day of falling and settling snow which is some sort of minor record, never mind it being March.

This has reached us in Nuneaton, now. We've had some fairly heavy snow and there's a thin covering on the ground.

There is a lovely clump heading towards Birmingham at the mo, and more heading through the Cheshire gap. (Can anyone confirm if it snow?)

Slight of snow covering on hard surfaces this morning

More snow in Aberdeen overnight. About 3cm of fresh snow fell. And just started snowing again.

We managed to get another covering lasdt night. About 1 cm or so. NOt as cold last night, only down to -1.8c. Do'nt expect much more in the way of snow, but definitley count myself as one of the lucky ones.

sunshine. Just been on a walk and taken a few pics of the hills of Oldham &

Saddleworth, beautiful, but damn cold and icy underfoot

Snow showers last night from about 2300 until 0200. Average depth this morning was 2.7cm, still a full cover but thawing steadily in the sunshine.

As this could well be the last for this winter, thought I'd stick a few pics of this morning on, (they're not very dramatic, but probably won't see any more for a while). Overnight a few more centimetres, so out of the sun probably about 4 cms now, but I'm sure it'll all be gone fairly quickly.
