Another couple of centimetres over night, but it has drifted really badly now the road outside is almost at waist level and yes I am trapped! Had a couple of heavy snow showers this morning.

Another couple of inches overnight. There is now a foot of level lying snow in Lerwick (30cms)

A couple of hefty showers this am and a very heavy one at the moment putting down another cm or two. Wind is blowing the snow and making the road conditions extremely difficult. Hard to see the schools etc being open tomorrow if this keeps up.

Temp: -0.5C

Wind chill: -3C

dew point: -2.7C

RH Humidity: 84%

Wind NNW

Well a couple of 'reports' as such.

Woke up this morning at 08.30 in suffolk (between Colchester and Ipswich). A nice surprise to see a light dusting on the ground (not really measurable).

Also, got back home in Derby about 13.30, and looks like the was a possability of a rogue shower at some point last night/this morning (one shaded part of the garden has some very patchy dusting).

Not much, but something all the same.

Awoke to a fresh covering of overnight snow c. 1cm lying.

Snow from previous falls still lying but only in sunless north facing spots (and the summits of the Clee Hills).

Another four or so snow showers today in Aberdeen. Not too bad compared with earlier this week. That now makes seven consectutive days of snow fall in Aberdeen.

Well i make it 6 consecutive days Kincorth. Similar conditions to yesterday - prolonged periods of sunshine with occasional snow showers. That might just about do it for this cold snap but the memories of the past week will never be forgotten.

Couple of brief flurries up here around 6-6:30.

had the skis on in the garden this afternoon. Piste conditions a bit sticky and with no real base. Top station 4cm; Lower station 4cm.

Moderate snow showers recently, left a slushy covering. Won't be much fun in the morning if it freezes later :(
