A rumble of thunder and the rain is pouring down in London now.

Only knew bout this to hit when bedroom started to go dark then heard the thunder... Rushed to window,, ooohhh lovely strike.

Love it when storms creep up on yer

This was the only thread I did not post the fact that the first thunderstorm of 2006 for London has just passed over London Bridge, heavy rain with hail mixed in and some good rumbles of thunder, not too much lightening.

It's brightening up now,

Impressive squall here about half an hour ago, very gusty winds, heavy rain, some hail, a crack & a rumble of thunder. Brightening up now from S.W.

Torrential hailstorm at lunchtime 2pm with very squally winds but no thunder or lightning.

Lightning? in March? We only have that from May to September. Mostly in June.
