Last night was absaloutely miserable here with some very heavy rain at times and very strong winds. Having a power cut (not caused by weather) didnt help much either. Today the rain still hasnt stopped, just turned to heavy drizzle and its still been windy and feels cold.

Overnight low:2c

Current temp: 5.9c

Temperature here -1.5C, stratoform cloud cover and feeling bitterly cold.

I don't expect the temperature to go above 1C tommorow in the snow fields.

Had some light snow which left a temporary dusting, all gone by 8.30 am though. Today has been cloudy and bitterly cold in the strong Southeasterly winds. Temperature scraped in at 3.6C at 2pm. Now it is remaining cloudy and cold although the wind has eased a bit. The air is also very dry at the moment.

I will have to check my weather records at the end of the month, but today could potentially feature Cleadon's lowest March maximum since I started taking records in 1993- the previous record was a maximum of 1.6C on the 13th in 1996.
