In Edinburgh. Snizzeling steadily. Lightest covering on cars. Snow sort of melting on pavement then freezing. If it gets heavier perfect set-up for few inches here!

Late report from Saturday for yet another form of wintry precipitation and yet another snow day of infinitessimally small consequence: ice crystals blowing about on and off all afternoon: occasionally even quite lightly (I hesitate to attach even this qualifier).

A thin covering of fine powdery snow in south west lancs. A strong , gusty , wind is blowing the snow off the rooftops making it difficult to estimate how much snow has fallen.
