wow some kind of localised fohn effect (judging by the temperatures elsewhere), has set itself up, it's really gone quite gusty and temperatures are heading up past 16C currently - amazing considering all!

Pretty rainy of course. Some wind this late afternoon, at some point at least, good heavy rain later. V impressed - heaviest rain of the year. Mild of course, thought I saw 14 or 15 max. No sun I don't think today so probably true.

The warmest March maxima since I began recording. The morning started off sunny before it gradually clouded over in the afternoon. The evening then saw heavy rain and overcast conditions, accompanied by a rapid pressure drop. Temperatures were exceptionally mild for the time of year, more like what would be expected in early-June.

Min Temp: 9.5°C (at 06:53)

Pressure: 992.8hPa (Falling Rapidly)

Dewpoint: 11.2°C

Wind: SSE (13mph)

Rain Today: 2.0mm

My March average currently stands at 4.1°C (-2.2°C Below the 1971-2000 average).
