A sunny start turned into a day of sunshine and sharp blustery showers. Had about six showers all lasting no more than three minutes . Pretty gusty. Max 14c.

Temp now 11c and clouding over from the West with frontal skies looming.

A real mixed bag today weather wise. Very, very dark here at the moment and having a torrential downpour. Started off sunny with some gusty breezes and the odd shower during the day and as I type I have just heard a clap of thunder ! Excellent stuff. Quite mild - was about 15 degrees about 20 minutes ago but its now dropped to 12.6.

After hanging around to the North-West over South Wales, that rain-area has finally arrived over North-West Bristol.

Oh - it's stopped again! Bit on and off at the moment.

Now it's here and it's pouring down!

Guess what - it's stopped yet again!

It's now become very dark outside, so I expect the 'true' presistent rain will be here soon.

Everything I have said above has happened in the last ten minutes - isn't our weather fantastic?
