Strange old day weather wise. Starting off in Bradford this morning, left here around 9.45am in torrential rain which followed me all the way to around York way where suddenly the skies were blue and it was totally dry ! Fortunate really as I went to watch some grass track racing and the weather stayed kind to us all day. I truly believe that they have their own micro climate down there (just down the road from Upper and Nether Poppleton) and despite a few cloudy spells and an exceptionally strong wind for the main the sun shone all day. Coming home around 6.30 I encountered a few showers and heavy downpours and then arriving back in Bradford it was petroleum distillateing down again !
