It's been the warmest day of the year so far, in fact the warmest since October 18th 2005, with a max of 16c. If only the sunshine from late morning/lunchtime had continued then 18c would have been a certainty.

There were a few drops of rain first thing and the afternoon has been cloudy. Right now there is clearer sky and TCu to the North and the temp is 14c. No wind.

Overnight low 9.2C,

very over cast all day,

odd light showers nothing to speak of,

in the afternoon cloud cover was very thick

which made for a dark afternoon,

day time high 17.2c,

now 12C,

wind light air.

Sunny this morning, then thin cloud all day until a bit ago. Clear at the moment, windows still open birds singing/occasional shreeks and hollers. Nearly obviously the warmest day of the year!

Edit: Some lumpy ominous clouds around 3ish, came to nothing.
