Dull start again this morning with a few light showers. Then turning partilly cloudy sunny. Cloud just starting to thicken up a bit now. I have recorded the highest early May temperature here at Newhall of 26.6c These sort of temperatures don't usually start for at least another two weeks.

Car Temperature Report during this afternoon:

Kings Lynn = 27oC

Thetford = 27.5oC

Although variations did go down to 25oC.

So quite warm in quite alot of places around east anglia. Slightly lower temperatures as I moved move north and west back to Derby.

Feeling Muggy though, and a slight breeze with moderate bursts (in Derby).

What a strange day weatherwise

Started off wet, then dried up and got upto 25c but incredibly windy. The temp cooled late afternoon to 21c but the humidity was really high. Eventually we had a brief shower and the air has cleared a little, although still humid but the wind has dropped
