Wonderful sunshine here in deepest, darkest. Not a cloud in the brilliant blue sky. The wind has subsided a fair bit, as the isobars are opening with this incoming fat Atlantic High and a Northerly is blowing at force 1/2. It is cold out there though! No more than 5C! One thick fleece should do for the doggie walk.

It's been a fine day with sunny spells, but rather cloudy at times after a cool, clear & sunny start. There is a nagging NW breeze with the max so far at 15c.

High cloud increasing from the W and temp now 14c in hazy sunshine.

Looks like the last gasps of this Northerly (well, North-Westerly) on the Eastern limb of this high, for the SW. Suddely gusting to force 4. An odd increase in wind speed. I was expecting the wind to die out almost completely this evening. About 10C, but feeling much cooler in the wind. I thick fleece for the dog walk. Actually, you'd be better off leaving the dog in its basket, because the cold out there takes you by surprise when you wonder out in a thin T shirt!
