hi

as posted on the 30C thread

max here was 30.5C, not the highest in the 10 years records I've got.

32.0 2005 on 19th

31.7C 2000 on 19th

But the highest this early in the month

John

Not as hot and unbearable as it was yesterday as the morning was cloudy and thus preventing the hourly temperature rise of 1C. Been lovely this afternoon though with still a hot temperature of 29.4C. Time to get the BBQ out.

Not long back from Lynmouth (worst UK river disaster, very steep roads) with second degree burns

Slowly clouding over here, calm and hot. 24C, and min 17.5C at some time over the weekend . I don't think it rained unless it evaporated.

Edited by I can't believe it's not better

The warmest day of the year so far here with a max' of 24.5c, nowhere near the month's record of 27.4c in 1995 and 2005.

1976 would have had a max' around 28.3c here, I was recording at a different, much lower site at the time.

Last night's min' was 16.1c, very high for the time of year.

Not as sunny or as windy as yesterday, the highest gust today was 27 mph at 1214 g.m.t.

Yesterday's sunshine total was 15.23 hrs, so far today it's 10.50 hrs with about 15 minutes to go before the sun disappears behind the moor.
