Can't go outside because the Avon Piloce helicopter is hovering overhead, there might be criminals outside. Talk about the butterfly effect though! Rain began about about lunchtime and was fairly heavy for a time, warm and nice. Probably about 4 mm in all, or so.

26mm of rain fell yesterday evening and overnight, amazingly heavy downpours at 4pm and an unbelievably torrential rainstorm at 7pm, which lasted a long time, leaving 20mm in just under an hour. Some more overnight rain left another 2-3mm. Very wet out in the ground, a much needed refreshing drink for the plants. Curently just 15.6c now. No breeze.
