Current temp here in the North East 14.1c

Looking at the radar there are a couple of showers in the facinity of my area [nothing spectacular]However i can also see a heavy band of rain moving in from the North West , this band of rain is currently sitting over the north west Scotland and North West Northern Ireland

Temp has gone up to 19.3c , here in the North East.However there are some heavy clouds approaching from the West

still very pleasant especally with that slight breeze from the WNW

Evening all, another hot and mostly sunny day, turned overcast during the late afternoon for a short while, the top temperature of 25.3c was at 15:50hrs, looks like a warm and sticky night ahead.

Currently in Burton at 20:00hrs:

Well it's certainly been a 'bit of a scorcher' here in Bristol this afternoon.

Due to the slight humidity I'm probably over-estimating a bit here, but I reckon the maximum temperature

around 16:00pm, was 26-27c (79-81f) in Bristol City Centre.

London started at 21c (0900), 23c (1000), 24c (1100), 25c (1200), so I reckon that,

contrary to weather forecasts, it reached 30c (86f) here.
