Since I got home in mid afternoon the weather has been really strange. It's been blowing a near gale but with unbroken warm sunshine!

After a wet and windy night it was an overcast but dry day. There were occasional sunny spells but these were few and far between until the evening, which saw the sky clear somewhat. Temperatures were again well above average for July, mostly a result of a high minimum temperature.
