I managed 35.6c today on my vantage pro station. This is just under 2c more than yesterday which was the highest I have recored since I have had the station since August 2004. Current 28.7 c

Still think it overreads a bit on these very hot days

Evening everyone,

Well what a scorcher, top temperature of 30.8 here, and wall to wall sunshine in deep blue skies, wow, but with low due points (6c at 14:00hrs) and low humidity, not to bad really, a different story tomorrow I think, as the humidity begins to increase.

Currently in Burton at 20:00hrs.

Clear sunny and still very hot.

Hot here in Reading, but only the second hottest day of the year so far (just behind July 2). Currently 26.6 deg C, max 32.9, min 16.0. Only slightly up from yesterday - my gut feeling is to play down the 36+ predictions for tomorrow and go for a top temperature of 35 at Heathrow....
