Well it shows how amazing this week has been when today's max was 7c cooler than yesterday yet it still reached 29c :D .

It's been mostly sunny, cloudier around midday, with a gusty breeze and very humid.

Astonishingly warm for a relatively cloudy day, the max' reached 26.9c and it was the 4th consecutive day to reach 26.7c (80f ).

Since 1976 only 1 month (August 1995 ) has had more than 4 days reaching 26.7c and that had 5. The last time there were 4 consecutive 26.7c days was July 1976.

A very brief heavy shower during the early hours of this morning gave 0.4mm, lightning was seen but no thunder was heard.

The day started foggy and overcast, the fog lifted by 0930 and the cloud thinned by late morning. There were sunny periods during the afternoon and a mainly sunny early evening as all the cumulus, which had developed during the afternoon, dispersed.

Highest gust was 25 mph at 1651 g.m.t.
