Dull overcast start Thunder heard in the distance around 7am folled by a brilliant display of thunder and lightning With some heavy rain it almost doubled my monthly rainfall in one half hour burst. Started to brighten up for a while but has turned dull overcast again very humid.

Well, the hot weather continues. Humid with hazy sunsine

Motre than likely to breach 25ºC for the 7th consecutive day. This really is outrageous, long lasting warmth for these parts, an average year will have only 6-9 dayts at 25º or more.

Nineteen days above 20ºC out of 22, and one of those days under 20ºC was 19.9º! Incredible!

If we hit 25ºC, not only will it be the 7th consecutive day, but the 11th day in July, as in the first 6 days we had a 27.3, 27.9, 26.3, 26.8!

Been in Cardigan bay all week - phew - sizzling weather, especially Wednesday.

Just found out that we had a thunderstorm at about 8am! I didn't hear it, cos I was blowing the zzzzzz's out.

A quick check of my station reveals that it dumped...........1mm rain on us. Thats 3mm for the month and 18mm since the last weekend in May. Remarkablre!
