Very warm, muggy, night. I've just seen what appeared to be a distant flash of lightning to my north east.

Woke by very heavy rain. Don't know if we had lightning and rumbles with it. Once it stopped though we have had a few rumblies. Getting closer then they stopped. Looks like that was it for a while. All gone quiet now. Maybe time for sleep again. B)

Ok edit that because there had been nothing for a good ten mins then as I mention sleep we get another rumble. Ok Time for sleep (hint hint) :)

We have a storm to the south west of us, which I think will be coming through here. It's producing thunder at a rate of about one rumble every 30 seconds or so, but only the odd visible lightning bolt. It's still extremely muggy and unpleasant...

surely 1 crack of thunder doesnt constitute a 'storm'...?

had some lightening this morn 12.30 am. 2 minutes of heavy rain... the thunder was pretty pathetic though,

this morning there was several decent rumbles in the distance, its dark here now, several more pathetic, almost apologetic rumbles plus some rain...

as usual just a bunch of crappy thunder, grey skies, nebulous cloud-forms, just thundery showers... NOT a 'storm'.

Just had a spectacular storm here in Burton, best one for years, continuous lighting for 15mins, huge cracking thunderclaps, took out the power a few times, plus alarms going off everywhere B)

Rained here about 7 a.m. Have heard distant rumblings for last hour or so, but they seem to be moving closer! One loud clap just as I am writing this. Lights dipped at same time. Something's coming!
