I noticed on Weather Underground that Aosta in the Italian Alps is currently -4 c although was forecasted to be 23c!

I checked yesterdays figures and max temp was 0c and they had snow during the day

Quite an odd day here.

Bright and hazy most of the time, some sunny spells. This afternoon has seen some light showers falling from very innocuous cloud and the sun was visible throughout. Max 22c as it is now under sunnier skies.
