lovely morning, I don't think. I could almost wish the intense heat back.

Its rained off and on since about 1800 yesterday, still doing so although not much. About 7mm so far, temp is at 12.7C in a stiff northerly breeze. Central heating on.

Rain started at 7 am persistant and quite heavy at times. Feels cold. No watering the garden today. Looks like my cricket match is going to be called off. First one for ages ! Central heating on also. No record August this time.

Good morning all, however it is dull grey and wet,it has been raining since around 9pm yesterday evening,current temperature is 11.6c,humidity 98%,wind moderate Northerly,barometer 1015 mb and falling slowly.

Central heating not on and door is wide open so that cat can sit in doorway and look out without getting wet.

Mrs Terminal says it's nice for him to be able to do that.

My protestations that he has a thick fur coat whereas I have skin (very)

sparsely covered in hair are falling on deaf ears.
