I came down from having a shower to find heavy rain and what I thought was lightening

thunder and lightning just now, more to the west than just overhead, but some breifly heavy rain too. Some cracking cloud to ground strikes, multiple forked lightning. looks nasty over there. now humid and 19c.

We've had a couple of rumbles of thunder, but no lightning, and it's only raining slightly.

Just had a small storm, not much thunder but on one occasion there was a very bright flash followed quickly by 3 loud 'pops' then the thunder and it seems there were 2 houses struck by lightening about half a mile away from me but no one has been hurt thankfully

Just had a storm here, lasted around 45 mins. Lots of thunder - not sure about the lightning because I was trying to get some shut-eye while the little one was sleeping!!! The thunder was lovely though.. pops and cracks but not deafeningly house-shaking and booming. Lots of rain as it moved through. Brightening up again now.

By the looks of both the meto radar/warnings and lightning detectors it looks like I've got a busy couple of hours coming up! Sometimes the mountain does come to Mohamed (I hope)!
