A very unsettled day with showery drizzle and rain which became thundery through the late afternoon. Some bright spells this morning and then sunshine earlier this evening. Max 17c with a variable breeze.

Still dull and overcast but it has calmed down from around 4.30 p.m till 6 p.m, when we had some fairly heavy rain, thunder and lightening. With today's outburst I no longer have the lowest rainfall total for the year.
