After a horrible start to the morning with some heavy showers the sky is at last starting to break very slightly the rain has now almost stopped with just a few spots falling in the stiff breeze. Well at least August didn't manage to break any records. Only the amount of colouring books that the kids got through. Or the amount of hours spent on the play station

12 months on and totally different weather, this day last year i managed to get a few photos of fantastic Mammatus on the trailing edge of a band of thundery rain/storms, as far as the eye could see both North and South. Not sure where the photos are but will look for them and post them on here if and when.

As i said 1 year on and its far from summer like... although muggy, its overcast and damp.

Well it was warm,muggy cloudy and damp today with it maxing out at 21.6C today.Certainly my most dreaded type of weather today
