Morning everyone

It started to rain here in the North east at 04.15hrs , only slightly at the moment , but looking at the radar there is a heavy batch of rain just on the outskirts of the north east

Current temp up here at the moment is 16.6c ,with the dew point on 13.8c , pressure has dropped right down to 1004.0hpa

So far this September the North east has seen 25.3mm of rainfall [more on the way]

Also this September after 13 days the Average temp at the moment is 16.93c which is currently +3.43c above the temp it should be, Septs average should be 13.5c

Average max temp is currently reading 21.66c currently +4.96c above

Average min temp is currently reading 12.58c currently +2.28c above

Warmest day so far = 11th= 26.6c

lowest temp so far = 8th sept = 5.3c

rainfall so far 25.3mm

The North east also saw a cold front pass through here on the 7th september bringing temps right down ,especially during the early hours of the morning , this cold front lasted for 3 days and finally moving a way from the north east on the morning of the 11th september ,

Also so far this month , comparing with the last 10 years ,this is the warmest september by a long shot ... in the last 10 years ,there has never been an average of above 16c

the previous warmest september was back in 1999 where the average temp was 13.5c

The overall average temp for september over the last 10 years has been averageing between 11c and 13.5c

Thundery rain overnight, but two thunderstorms passed me by, one to the east, one to the west :(

Everythings drenched again, theres even a puddle under the swing which I've not seen for a couple of years.

Cooler and less humid right now, 16c. Light southerly wind.

Very wet and dark in fact darker than it was at 8am. Several heavy bursts in amongst the constant heavy rain. The MetO weather warning for our area is not wrong. IOW lightning detector shows the odd strike around our area but not seen or heard anything.

Thought the clearance had arrived from the west about an hour ago, but looks like everything is moving back from the east again just now.

Cloudy, Drizzle, calm after a 45mph gale overnight, and of course those bloody MIDGES are out again!
