A lovely day in Deepest, Darkest Devon.

Walked down into town in some delightful Autumn sunshine. 20C and light Southerly winds. Sublime. Interesting sky with Ci, Cis, Ac, As and some big cumulus in the last 15 minutes. Can we have this weather until May, please? :D

We seem to be missing all the severe weather here lately. This September is going to be well below average in terms of rainfall here I reckon.

The weather is warm and sunny after a brief light shower midday. Wind is picking up.

Temp: 21.0c, steady

Humidity: 30%, rising

Pressure: 1002mb, rising

Wind: fresh, from the South-Southwest

Warnings out for severe wx in parts of England, 20mm of rain, in my mind thats not really severe, is it ?

It is when it's falling in sudden very heavy bursts causing large pools on road surfaces!

20c and mostly sunny now :D .

It got\became very sunnt here this afternoon after the wet midday. Another drop of moderate rain for a few seconds probably only gave 0.5 - 1.0mm at best.

Report for Friday 22nd September 2006, Readings taken at 23:55.

After an exceptionally mild and dry night rain moved in just before sunrise. The entire day was then cool, overcast and wet, with heavier rain moving in during the afternoon. The evening then turned drier, but despite this it was the wettest day of the year so far. Temperatures were overall above average but strange in that the highest temperature happened during the night before falling away.

Current Temp: 13.9°C

Max Temp: 18.7°C (at 04:08)

Min Temp: 13.9°C (Current)

Humidity: 91%

Min Humidity: 75% (at 04:12)

Pressure: 1007.9hPa (Rising)

Dewpoint: 12.4°C

Wind: SW (Calm)

Rain Today: 24.3mm

My September average currently stands at 17.5°C (+3.4°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
