Great shot of the building but for me its Wibs, good pic for August and great light bouncing off the water, good job

Excellent standard by all as always.

MCT shades it by a short-head from WIBS.

Thanks MCT, you're my new Desktop background !

No problem, glad you like it.

If you want I can send you a higher quality pic for your desktop?

An exciting competition this month by the way :D

Just got round to putting those pics on my site after nearly 2 months

Sorry, team, it had to be MCT for me, the wave like clouds over a flat sea are just so nice B)

the others are stunning too B) been such good quality the past few months!

Likewise. All excellent but that one was the best.

I just want to say that i think the overall quality of all of the pictures is extremely high and in my opinion, which is subjective of course,,any one of the three below could have been the winner. However this would be my top three, with number one being the one that i voted for

1.MCT

2.Fraser5002

3.Leekay

MCT that is genuinly stunning photograph,Thank you :)

Well done to Wibs then! Not only was this the most popular photo competition yet* but it was a close run thing with MCT and Leekay pushing Wibs hard all the way (lucky Wibs) and has provided us with our first female winner, which is nice for the little dears.

med_gallery_1217_24_364285.jpg

I PMd Wibs and asked he to explain some more about the photo:-

"This was part of a theoretical project based on the concept of a 'predatory fish machine' with images created through the movements of hung 'urban prosthetics'. It involves 'conversations formed amongst degrading waves and raging white horses and deals with issues of leakage and the relationship between movement and time"

I couldn't agree more.

*this might not actually be true. I can't be bothered to check though as I have a hangover from hell.

Thank you, I've never won anything before! Didn't think I'd win this to be honest... MCT's photo is a corker, and so are the others.

Well done Wibs, the closest competition I can remember, it was fun to be part of it.

Shuggee, when is the cut off for the 2007 calendar and when will they be available to buy?

Thanks.

I'm not Shuggee, but to answer your question, that is the final photo which will make it onto the 2007 calendar from this year. We'll hopefully have it printed this month and ready to sell in November. All the winners of the monthly competitions will get one for free :o

Great shot Wibs. Well done. But sad that there couldn't have been two winners this month - MCT's wave cloud was spectacular as well.
