Hey, I hope I do this all correctly, I'm only just new to this site, but I was scanning the internet for photography comps and thought I might as well put a few up here.

Wow that's late in the day for a rainbow, in the bottom picture behind the cross.

I think I've got this right this time. It says it's 800 x 532. Hopefully, this mac doesn't like me, I'm more used to PC's.

That's the joys of living in Wales. It will rain in a very determined fashion until the last shreads of light give up and fade away. At least it looked pretty though.

I'm sure Wales holds the world record for the longest lasting rainbow...aprox 3 hours. I might be wrong so I will check the Guiness Book of Records

Fairly new to this but have been inspired by some of the fabulous photos in this competition so I thought I'd have a go. Hope they are resized correctly.

Mermaid! Hove seafront - In the last 2 pics you can just make out the image of a woman sitting on the end of the groyne. She was wearing a wetsuit and letting the stormy waters wash over. Looked great fun. Shame I didn't have a decent camera to catch her.

Oh dear - we just had a glorious ten minutes of clouds here which meant rushing upstairs and trying to hand hold pix at 1/15 sec, urk. And then I come out of 15 pix with two I like, one of which is abstract, and one with some structures, and I can't make up my mind which one to enter. Hey ho.... Hmm... Think I'll go for .... this one:
