just 0.6mm of rain here so far, yet 15-20 miles west in the eastern end of the Peak Disrrict, roads have been awash since about noon. Dry but cvloudy at the moment and feeling pretty muggy.

Will be a shock to the sytem by this time next week with 5-8 degrees C knocked off the maximums in this area!

Just for a change we had fog all morning, eventually clearing around 1500. The heaviest of the rain seemed to miss this area but we did get spells of heavy rain around midday and again during early and mid-afternoon. The rain became light and intermittant after 1600.

Max' temp' today, 14.3c, temp' currently is 11.9c.

Rainfall from 0900, 13.4mm

Sunshine today, nil
