    Hi

Are there any devices which just measure wind speed and send the results wirelesly to a device? Because on meteorologica, there are remote weather stations which take the stats of everything and send them back to a device, but Im wondering if there is a device like a weather station which just takes the wind speed.

    Thanks for any help

I think you'd need to buy an anemometer and data logger and have the logger linked by wireless to a p.c.

Buying meteorological recording equipment in this way tends to be more expensive than buying ready made weather stations but, on the other hand, you get what you pay for.

Try googling Skye Instruments, Campbell Scientific, Casella, Munro or

Delta T. They're all reputable instrument makers who supply separates but be warned, they aren't cheap.

As far as I know, all the budget end weather station suppliers do just that and deal only in weather station packages.
