Cairngorm webcams

What are they doing?? First good cold spell and they go down during it. They,ve been off to long, i need my fix. Are they updating their cams, maybe Live streaming?

From the track just above Loch Morlich from Glenmore to Badaguish. It is indeed a special place! Especially in the snow.

I've just e-mailed them about the webcam to ask what's going on so i'll let you know what I get back.

Before the next snow event could people in scotland maybe please provide a link to there web cams. What coverage of the eg. highlands, we have is of poor quailty.

Well it was in the media forecast area. But webcams are not a forecast so the Wibster moved it

The Cairngorm cams shouldn't be off for too long.

Just been reading the Winterhighland Forum, heres a couple of quotes from there:

"Got an email from CM todays saying the're having technical problems with their server and email and are aware of the issues with the website and webcams. They are trying to reslove asap... "

Many thanks for your email. I'm afraid we were having fairly major problems with our email and main server last week, which is why your original email didn't reach us, and also why our webcams haven't been working lately. Info emails go directly to the customer service team in the ticket office, are checked daily, then forwarded on to relevant people to deal with (if they can't answer the questions themselves), so a wait of 4 days for a reply is certainly not normal!

We do hope to have all of our issues resolved very soon as we are installing a new server.
