Woken this morning by a very bright flash of lightning followed by a crash of thunder that shoke the house and set off a number of car alarms!!!! Still having thundery downpours that turn the road outside into a small river. Amazing watching the radar as the rain seems to peep up just as it crosses here in N London. won't be out on the bike just yet

I wouldn't quite call it mild...but it's not cold either. 12C-14C i would classify as mild, but that's just cynical old me.

A really calm pleasant day after what has been thrown at us the last few days. It has been mainly cloudy and sunny for most part of the day. Hardly any wind and for a change no rain. This years chances of claiming the lowest rainfall total at Newhall Weather Station fell by the wayside yesterday. Never mind we always have next year.
