Ok I think the odds of any snow are pretty remote given the current temperatures, however I have been experiencing intense rain and hail / sleet showers over the last hour or so accompanied by some quite high winds.

I think this falls under the wintry precipitation category, hence this thread.

So if anyone else has been experiencing similar conditions then please let us know as I'd like to see how widespread my current weather conditions are.

Thanks.

Ok so this isn't anything earth-shattering, but we've had sleet in two squalls today.

One of the earlier showers (whilst driving) had wet snow in it (as it splatted on the windscreen). I would have thought hail from the showers so melting snow was notable!.

Quite a bit of hail today with what I could only discern as sleet, it was like crystals melting, although temperatures seemed a bit high but notably before when I was in work, we had a whiteout, of hail of course. Quite mild though so it didnt last long! Great weather though!
