I woke up about 4am I think, and seem to remember the wind being really strong and a downpour of rain too..

now the sun is out, a bit breezy.. where are these strong winds that I keep hearing about on the radio in the south east??? because they are not here in dartford kent??

General warning to all drivers with regard to large amounts of standing water on the road following heavy rain during the night. This is a county wide problem, all roads affected.

Probably more likely to have been soft hail. Had hail here this morning at about 10am. Lots more heavy rain overnight with a max wind gust of 42mph
