Spring/Summer flowers in Winter

Scilly Isles of course, people probably recognise it having been there.

Well my lavender is still flowering and the daffs are coming through in droves.

Daffodils now coming through strong and the grass is already starting to grow. And we still have most of "winter" left yet. Not that it has been much of a winter.

Saw my first daffs in full bloom on the way to work this morning. I don't ever recall seeing them flower in January before.

My honeysuckle hasn't stopped flowering since last summer.

Ours stopped flowering last Nov...i see new buds emerging this year - looks like a lot more than last year too.

Also, i'm seriously thinking of cutting the lawn tomorrw. It's had a very good soaking this last few weeks, but with the HP over us for days and days and no forseeable frost due, tomorrow it is!
