Persistent drizzle and light rain from about 2130 yesterday evening until present. Fog on the hills from about 0600 until late morning when it thinned/lifted into mist.

After an overcast and windy night it was a calmer day with light drizzle. The morning saw a suprise hail shower before it turned drier for a time. The rain then returned into the evening much heavier than before, accompanied by a stronger wind. After an exceptionally mild night it was a cooler day, especially towards the evening. As a result, temperatures were still above average for the time of year overall.
