Hovering around freezing and foggy. Visibility down to about 100yds, which is thick for here. Dropped to -1.1º earlier on...the 4th consecutive air frost and thirteenth of the winter so far.

clear as a bell and not a cloud in sight, flat calm with temp now -2.9C, at its lowest. Everywhere white over, with even a thin skim of ice on the main garden pond.

Yesterday was the coldest day since 17/3 with a mx of 4.3C. Last night is the coldest night since 23/3.

Sunny and almost cloudless, just a few wisps of cirrus. All the valleys are filled with thick fog to a depth of about 180m.

Still no air frost here, a min' of 2.0c last night, temperature was up and down like a yo-yo between 2.5 and 3.6 for most of the night. Grass min' of -3.0c.

Current temp' is 2.9c. Wind 7 mph W, vis' 4 miles above the fog.

Barometer 1039.1mb, rising steadily.
