A cold day, minimum of -1.3C and midday max of 2.0C.

Currently 1.1C and raining, I think this is the lowest temperature at which I've observed rain and been unable to detect any sleetiness.

Three changes today ; firstly, AND FINALLY, some sunshine in hazy spells from mid morning onwards :wallbash: , secondly the temperature has risen above 5c for the first time since Dec 18th, and thirdly quite a breeze picked up this afternoon.

Current temp is 7c and rising slowly in a SW breeze.

I have just returned from freezing cold but sunny Aberdeen (-7c)yesterday morning to Newcastle where it is raining quite heavily with a temperature of 1.4c but no sign of any sleet,humidity 87%,wind light from an unknown origin,barometer 1023 mb and falling slowly.
