    Chaps, and of course, chappesses,

    I would like a centuries worth (or even more) of history of measured daily SLP for the entire northern hemisphere. Charts are no good, but excel would be great - actually I want the numbers with long and lat. Does anyone know where I can get hold of this. I've googled and end up going around in circles.

    Also, for the same lattice, I'd like mean 2m temps covering the same period in the same format for the same area.

    Does anyone have this information? I'd like to, of course, obtain it for free.

      Exceptional warmth for western Europe as October begins

      There'll be exceptionally warm temperatures for the time of year affecting much of western Europe during the coming days, but that warmth will only graze the UK for now.
