First pic is near our house in paizay-n'in where we watch big snakes in the summer aswell as coypus/wild cat's and feenix cat(?)....got this photo just before i had to push the bread into the bag so it wouldn't get wet from the rain

Back end of a heavy squally hail shower that passed south of me giving thunder in South London/ Surrey, taken only a few minutes ago.

Set exposure down to -2.0 to get lovely effect of dark virga curtains against bright background

Love the symmetry of the middle shot, John, and the atmosphere of the other two. Looks like you shot those with a very wide angle lens. Nice.

Thanks for the kind comments.

Yes i took all 3 photos with am new 10-22 Canon Ultra wide lens. This is the equivalent of a 16-35 in 35mm terms.

This was my 1st attempt using such a wide angle lens and the learning curve is really fun. It is easy to get is wrong or quirky but the results can be amazing, like these examples.
