They were discussing this winter, and how the second half is going as expected regarding the cold, he then went on to say we would see a return to milder conditions next week, but

won't see any wintery conditions until the middle of March.

Morning all.

Looking good on the N Downs-continuous moderate snow as they say in the Met O, code 73 if I recall correctly. Not going out there in my night attire but looks like about 3 cms. Kids have got a conditional day off school today; conditional on if it snows! Wonder if they will choose to go?

Not this old chestnut again, if they can walk to school and the roads are not blocked, they go. It'll have all melted by the afternoon probably.

What a bizarre night! Shuffled off to bed around 2.15am with the sound of rain falling, got up just now as I could hear one of the dogs shuffling and a beautiful scene outside with a blanket of snow, all I need now is for santa to arrive!
