Fabulous pics, Karolis; thank you. You do realise that you may get lynched by envious snow-rampers, I presume?

:)P

Oh, and Happy Independence Day. Watch out for the spaceships. :cold:

The sight of a frozen sea is one to behold! (if you're to be sunbathing there in July!!!) My only view of one (so far) was north of Hamburg one year (Travemunde?) but it is a 'must see' sea and a one heck of a promenade!!!

(Pickled Eel to follow please!!)

Lithuanian schools close due to cold

Primary schools in several districts of Lithuania were closed on Feb. 22 due to extremely cold temperatures.

Schools in eastern Lithuania were the worst affected by the cold snap, which was expected to reach a low of -29.5 degrees Celsius on the evening of Feb. 22.

According to an education department policy, lessons are cancelled when temperatures drop bellow -25 degrees Celsius.
