 Summer8906 The final few days of March 1965 were the warmest days of the entire year for some locations including Whitby. 

March 1965 featured both a snow event in Dublin early on (8cm lying at Casement at 0900 on the 5th March) and then the highest March temperature on record in Ireland was recorded at Trinity College, Dublin on the 28th of 23.6C which still stands to present day.
