Easter 1998 is probably the one you're looking for:

Good Friday- heavy persistent rain in the south with flooding, with sleet/snow on its northern flank mainly for high ground, snow showers in N Scotland

Saturday- rain retreated south, sun and snow showers followed behind

Sunday- sun and snow showers generally, here in Cleadon there was a dusting of snow to begin with

Monday- sun and snow showers. Late Monday into Tuesday, heavy snow in north-west England.

Blimey I remember that Good Friday in 1998- watching Liskeard v Saltash in the SWL- wearing at least 3 jumpers. Very bitter indeed! :)
