I saw a couple of flashes to the South between 1900-1930hrs. At 1955hrs there was a sudden breeze followed in under a minute by a sharp shower. I've not seen anything since (as of 2300hrs).

Note : Sorry to the mods. I just realised my previous post was indeed in the wrong thread. :clapping:

heavy hail and snow shower here in hyde cheshire lots of lightning and thunder just clearing from the west temperatures have dropped to 2c hope we have more tonight we are about 3 miles from the snake pass.

Sorry in advance if I've posted this in the wrong category.

I've just got back from a stroll along the North Beach at Lowestoft and I've never seen the tide as high up as this

when there is still nearly 3 hours to go before the expected high tide.

Anyone at low levels along this stretch of coastline should keep a watchful eye on the sea defences.

Sorry again if this is in the wrong place, but I thought it might be important.

Hope I'm wrong.

Okay, a bit freaky. No thunder; blue sky & cloud. But 'soft' hailstones 1-2cm in size bursting through every few seconds. Quiet, then 'bang', quiet, 'bang'. Air temp is 9C and humidity 51%. Sun to the south-west, lighting hailstones from the north, where big m-f clouds are heading this way. Enough hail, even though it is melting at the same time, to show visibly on neighboring rooftops and in the garden.

:)P

Hmm, not sure if this should be posted? ;)

The lights are flickering every 10-20 seconds or so, and it only usually does that during a storm - but can't see anything or hear it...yet. Don't suppose anyone near the Falmouth area can report any thunder and lightning?

Also saw some good convection today (lots of towers) with one hail shower and plenty of gusty wind.
