There was a notable warm spell from the 26th of March to April 2nd 1907, when maxima got into the high teens widely and in a few places into the low 20s

The warm spell was due to high pressure which gave plenty of sunshine and this coincided with Easter, 29th March-1st April.

Easter Sunday recorded a record maximum for 31st March with 22.0C and Easter Monday recorded a record maximum of the 1st of April with 22.7C

There was also a record maximum for the 26th of March with 22.8C

    CET for 26th March-3rd April: 9.6

Many thanks as always for some good historical information.

Interesting that this came on the back of what was one of the sunniest Marches on record.
