Take a look at this Vid from last years Storm Chasing in USA. Take 1 reporter from Channel 4 who wants to destroy a Brand new Mini Cooper whilst tagging along with Silver Lining Tours, the result being the Mini is NO Match for a Supercell, and also human flesh doesnt come off too good as well.

Nice clip of a supercell there and some nasty bruises on that guy! Make sure we keep out of those hail cores Paul when we're over there!

I thought that clip was hilarious, Paul! Poor bloke looked terrified!

I'm soooooo looking forward to seeing some beautiful storms like the ones in the clip :yahoo: although my other half saw the clip too, and is now wondering what I've got him into! :drinks::D

Hopefully we wont get any bruises. Tell Stuart we will only us him as a Lightning Conductor and not a Hail deflector :drinks::yahoo: 5 weeks tomorrow. Yay

    Nice video.

Although I doubt that you would actually die from golf-ball sized hail hitting you. This is because there was a storm back in June 2005 in southern County Durham that had golf ball sized hail for a time that smashed greenhouses and dented a few cars - but no reports of serious injuries. I think maybe because the intensity of such hail-storms in the US, are a lot more than the ones here; despite the hail-size.
