Weather data download?

Hi,

Would anyone know a good place to get data for weather prediction, ideally for free. I am a surfer and looking for a place to get data (swell, pressure wind etc) to feed into a model i am making. I have looked around the noaa website a fair bit but its quite hard to navigate around it. any ideas would be very greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the comment but i had a look there and its just charts for free, i might think about buying some data but i thought it was free from places like noaa? i'm just having trouble finding it.

(I'm just back from holiday today, so there may be a slight delay in me replying as I'm playing catch up at the moment!!).

The data from GFS output can be found here

And you can 'degrib' the file formats using the software here

It's certainly easier if Paul's happy to send out GFS output by CSV, though!

thanks for those links. Has anybody got any good tutorials or any good sites to learn from about how to use all of these tools or understand how to use the gfs data? thanks.
